Each year in October, Berlin Celebrates the festival of Lights. This annual illumination show brings out the crowds to see the familiar sights and monuments in a different way. Of course the Brandenburg Gate is one big attraction and since we live nearby, so easy for us to see. And as we walked on over to the Reichstag we found it full of people protesting in support of protests which were started in New York. Here are some photos from this years festival.
