Flat Stanley is a childrens book written by Jeff Brown in 1964. Many elementary schools today are using this to teach the children letter writing and more about the world. I was thrilled when I received the request from Elliot, that his kindergarten class was having a Flat Stanley project and he was mailing me Flat Elliot to take around Berlin. I was worried when it took Flat Elliot 3 weeks to arrive, but once he did, Craig and I got the camera ready and had alot of fun taking Flat Elliot around Berlin and making photographs for Elliot. Even though we love Berlin very much, we do miss having opportunities to spend with our precious grandchildren, and this made me feel very close to them. Here is the Flat Elliot book I created which will be presented back to Elliots kindergarten class in the next few weeks. I decided to go with the technology of a photo book rather than hand making a scrapbook. Since I put so much time and effort into this project, I thought I might as well post it on the blog.
