The Altes Museum

A few weeks ago we visited the Neues Museum (New Museum) and now here is the Altes Museum (Old Museum). We purchased an annual pass so we can visit Museum Island repeatedly for a year as well as many other museums. Since there are reportedly 175 museums in Berlins we probably won't even make a dent in three years. Aftere visiting the museum it was such a pristine day we had lunch and conitnued to meander around until we were too tired and went home. It is so neat that Museum is only about 4 blocks from out apartment. The Museum Island is a recongnized UNESCO World Heritage Site. The collection of Classical Antiques ia amazing although I didn't do a good job of labeling the photos, you can just look and get an idea.
