Our Grandson, Elliot has had a fascination for trains since he was introduced to Thomas and his friends as soon as he could understand. He comes by this honestly as Craig first had a train with his Dad and brother as a boy, and it seems like we had an electric train at Larry's first Christmas. That later progressed to the year of the GI Joe train and eventually the train layout project that overtook the basement for a number of years. So as we became aware of the Loxx Model Train layout at Alexander Platz in Berlin, we had to go. I'm sure we will visit again when Larry and Amy visit with Elliot and Reid, but on Saturday we visited the train layout with its 400 trains!
