On Monday we headed south from Berlin to visit Lutherstadt Wittenberg. We were blessed with such a clear sunny day for this outing, so notice the blue sky in the photos! Martin Luther spend 38 years of his life in this location so there is the town and parish church of St. Mary's (St. Marien) where Luther preached many sermons. Also the Palace Church (The Schlosskirche) where Martin Luther nailed his 95Theses to the door. I am so grateful to the reunifiction of Germany so this lovely town is available to us to visit!
