Birthday

This week was my birthday and my initial thought was not to include this in the blog. Then I thought again and decided I cannot deny turning 60 and really I should not worry about a number, but just be grateful for all the blessings in my life over the last 60 years. I cannot begin to list them, but I know I have been given a life of luxury and ease. The Lord has blessed me with being born into a Christian family. I am so thankful for Craig, the love of my life and nothing is more important than family. So as I now begin a new decade of life I hope to embrace family and friends and most of all live a life acceptable to our Lord.

I had a great day on Tuesday as Craig and I went out and picked up our German Drivers Licenses. We are now licensed drivers here, never mind the fact that my birthplace is listed as Missesota. Then we had lunch together at the Embassy, After work Craig came by and we went out for a steak dinner at the Block House Restaurant. Then we picked up a cake/torte at a bakery by Kaiser. We came home to eat the cake and open a few presents. As we sat down the phone and computers rang. We ended up with Timothy and Cam on one computer, Larry and family on the other one, with Scott texting in through Skype. When the phone rang Craig was talking to my Mother calling from Texas. Then Timothy took the photo below where you can share the whole scene with me. You can see Timothy and his dog, Cam in the lower left corner, then you can see Larry and Reid on the other computer, Craig on the phone while I was opening packages. I feel so blessed and loved by my family.
